About: I have an Associates Degree in Accounting from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, and I am currently attending Appalachian State University to get my Bachelor's Degree. I previously worked at Caldwell County Schools for 12 years, first as a substitute teacher and later in the Finance department. At the beginning of 2024, I started at Appalachian State University in the Payroll Department. In Payroll I enjoyed gathering and analyzing data to make sure employees get paid in a timely manner. I am now excited to learn more in my new position as Accounting Technician for College Access Partnerships. I love working with numbers and researching problems to find solutions. Hopefully this skill will be beneficial in my new role with CAP.
