About: My name is Lorena Calvillo, and I serve as a College & Career Advisor in my hometown at Ashe County High School and Ashe Early College High. I focus on empowering students to find their unique postsecondary pathways! I recently graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's in Political Science and a Bachelor's in Anthropology. I hope to continue serving and supporting students through advising and eventually pursuing my master's in social work and/or public health. I also serve as the Regional Administrative Officer for the Southeast Regional Board of Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Inc., where I support our undergraduate chapters and help with day-to-day operations.
