Gloria Medina

About: Gloria grew up in Morganton, NC, then attended UNC-Chapel Hill to study Journalism and Public Relations. Upon graduating, Gloria served as the College Adviser at Reidsville High School (Reidsville, NC). She then attended NC State University to pursue a Masters in Higher Education Administration. After working in student union activities at California State University-Dominguez Hills, Gloria returned to NC to work with Advise NC at App State. Now serving in the director role, Gloria loves partnering with advisers and schools to ensure all high school students in Western NC can make an informed decision about their next steps. In her free time, Gloria enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids.

Education: BA in Journalism & Mass Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill | M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from NC State University
