About: Sherry is a former K-12 Special Education, English Language Arts, and Drama Teacher who spent most of her teaching career in the middle school grades. After teaching, she shifted her attention to social services where she was the administrator of a food bank and Lead Advocate at a domestic violence shelter. Sherry also served as the Director of Mentorship and Empowerment at Arizona's Children Association where she was involved in programming for youth transitioning out of foster care. Her hobbies include camping, hiking, dog training, musical theater and spending time with her best friend, Fergus (her Golden Retriever), her two adult children, and her grandson, Finn.
