About: I obtained my BS in History with a Career Concentration in International Business Law in 2007 from Appalachian State. I began working for GEAR UP in 2022 as a non-student temp with the Finance Team and became an Accounting Technician with GEAR UP in 2024. I just started the Non Profit Grant Management Masters Certificate Program here at Appalachian State, while I still work with the GEAR UP Finance Team as an Accounting Technician. I am a mother of 6 fantastic children and have been married to the love of my life, John for 24 years. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, music and reading.
