Molly O'Donnell

About: Molly O'Donnell was born and raised in Yancey County, NC. She started her college journey at Mayland Community College and then transitioned to Brevard College for her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies. Following graduation, she became a Next Step Adviser with Advise NC @ App State (AppANC) in 2020, working at Mitchell High School in Bakersville, NC. Immediately following her service as an adviser, she became Assistant Program Director for AppANC in June of 2022. She is very passionate about training advisers and making them feel more confident in their role and more connected to rural Appalachia. Molly still lives in Yancey County. You can find her gardening, biking, and swimming in cold creeks with her husband and daughter in their free time.
