Dr. Jason Snyder has an educational background in Geography and Applied Economics focused primarily on food systems both domestically and abroad, and has spent the past four years as an instructor in the Department of Sustainable Development at Appalachian State. While new to the region, he has taken a strong interest in Appalachian history and culture, and is dedicated to the promotion of a regenerative, resilient, and equitable future, believing that improving access to quality education at all levels is essential to achieving this vision.
