About: Aaron began his professional life as an educator when he taught middle school and high school science in Watauga and Avery counties. He came to Appalachian State University as a coordinator for the Upward Bound Program in 2009, and he has served as the director of the program since 2018. Aaron enjoys supporting students in their journey through high school and into college.
