Why should students throughout Western NC consider pursuing postsecondary education?

No matter what your plans are after high school having any post secondary education will help you be more successful and set you apart from your peers to get the jobs/career you want. Whether it is a certificate course from a community college or a degree from a university having that specific knowledge from that experience will open doors for you for your future.

Why is the work and mission of CAP important to the educators we serve throughout Western NC?

The work and mission of CAP helps educators take there classroom experiences and expand them beyond what they could even imagine or make possible on there own. Whether its helping expand upon a lesson with career or college exploration, helping craft and have the supplies and support to integrate innovation in the classroom, or helping implement projects that teachers or administrators have only dreamed of. We have the resources to help educators provide students anything and everything they need.

What are you doing when you're feeling most happy; most alive; most joyful; most content; most fulfilled; or most like you belong?

I feel the most alive traveling to new places, I am the most joyful being with my family and friends, I am the most content working out or adventuring in nature, I am the most happy sitting in the sun reading amazing books and eating amazing food. I feel like I most belong when helping others accomplish goals.

What is one piece of advice you might be able to offer a middle or high school student?

If your dreams and goals don't scare you then you are not dreaming big enough. Scary dreams and goals mean that you are pushing yourself and you will never regret pushing your self to achieve more.
